I made a successful miso soup using this easy link.
It makes 4 servings.
4 c water
2 tbs wakame seaweed
half a package of medium firm tofu cut into small cubes (240g)
1 tsp dashi powder
2 tbs white miso paste
bring water to a boil, stir in seaweed, tofu and dashi powder for about 5 mins. Remove from heat and whisk in the miso paste. It is not as salty as the restaurant version but likely healthier. You can always add more miso paste to your taste.

Looks delicious.

Does it taste fishy?
I still have tofu to use up...
Love wakame
So awesome! I have always wanted to make it!
Great to see your recipe. Wonderful on a cold winter's day❄️
I definitely want to try this recipe. Looks yummy!
Iris not fishy at all. If you can't find dashi, chicken stock might be a good substitute. But it needs the miso paste and seaweed. I think I never made it as I never had all the ingredients.
This is lovely. I love miso soup.
I've never tried to cook miso soup. I just tried it in a restaurant and didn't like it very much... May be selfmade is better...
All the best, Traude

I've never tried miso soup before, Christine. I'll look for it the next time I go to the store.
Blessings!
Looks good Christine.
All the best Jan
Parece muy rica. Gracias por la receta. Te mando un beso.
It sounds very good, thanks for the recipe. Love these soups on a cold day particularly.
way back when I was a vegetarian for quite a few years-til I just got too thin and had to introduce more foods again, I made allot of miso soups and used tofu in allot of different ways. Later I learned my body does not like soy products so have kept those foods off my diet for years now.
I always enjoyed the simplicity though
look yummy...
