Daughter L told us about this American Drama Netflix series called Firefly Lane and we have been enjoying this series starring Katherine Heigl. Gigi told me about his Korean medical drama on Netflix called The Trauma Code. That is really good too.
In other news we have been having major winter storms this past week, doing a lot of digging out. Our city seems to be appropriating shopping malls and grocery stores in order to build condos. It means the traffic will get worse of course. And where are we to shop.

Watched Firefly lane last week...it was okay. Katherine Heigl looks so different...must be plastic surgery.
We have had a similar situation in our city about those condos..and they are still building on the site. In our case, the mall had been run down and there was a bad riot there some time ago. It seems they are building more gourmet grocery stores in some of these areas..but we can't really afford them (although smaller, but much more expensive) Yes, we are in a winter storm warning in the mid-west now. Negative number windchills to go with the snow.
You have freezing winter cold and it's bad when more and more shops close. But that's the same for me, it was the same last year. Now I only have a grocery store nearby, otherwise a bakery and a frozen food shop.

Sorry to read that the traffic will get worse. That's not fun. And that stores are leaving. Where I live, we get a lot of Canadian shoppers as well as pick up a nearby radio station. In other news, a few stores here are leaving and a few new ones have come in. No new condos. Yet anyway.
Traffic in what was once a small town where we live is now fairly nightmarish. It's all due to the huge growth of Kennesaw State University over the last 20 years. Lots of new condos and apartments! Blessings, Christine!

My dearest don't watch a lot of TV and lately we've been watching old TV series as so many of the modern ones use language and imoral behavior it's hard to find one that suits our tastes. How area is so full of condos and low cost living complexes you hardly every see individual homes on a lot. Thankful for my little home and complex, but would love to have a large ranch..with animals and gardens. In my deams...haha

They are building a lot of condos and apartments here too. The housing is needed, but it does mean more traffic and congestion. 🙁
Our weather hasn't been too bad after we had that bad storm. We haven't got Netflix at the moment, but heard people talking about some good shows :-D
